ArmA is great. Since I got it I hardly play any other game. Do you have any suggestions for titles similar to it? Are you back in the community or are you still out. ArmA 3 was the selling point for me.
Love how you can make mods and the immersion is something else.Hello ADit is great to see an Arma fan over here. It is one of the most addictive games I ever played. There's Iron Front it's a WW 2 game using the Arma 2 engine.
A MOD team of long time members of the community cut a deal the ArmA developer. You can use it as a MOD in ArmA 3. The modding community has always been the driving factor behind the ArmA franchise.I'm still tinkering with ArmA 2 Combined OPS.
I'm playing in the last 2 years with the CWR2 MOD. The biggest MOD ever created for the ArmA 2 franchise.
Last time I released something for the arma community dates back a month ago more or less. For being honest I can't recommend something similar because I don't know a game I could compare it to.Cheers. Hello ADit is great to see an Arma fan over here.

I will definitely look into getting the mod. Saw your mission pack but seems its for ofp, is there a way I could port it for ArmA 3? I have seen some mods to that effect but sometimes its a challenge to figure out the right combination of mods.Fair enough I was doubtful any thing as good as it could be possible with the present advancement of computer technology.
However, I heard 'Americas Army' is not a bad simulation. Haven't tried it but from all indications it seems similar.Still trying to get my act together though, some of the mods I install tend to mess with the core game files.
I have tried putting the mods in a different folder but that doesn't seem to make much difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Watched the video the attention to detail is at par with the main ArmA game. I will definitely look into getting the mod.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. The mission pack is for Arma 2 Combined Operations ( Arma2 + Operation Arrowhead ) + official Expansion (BAF +PMC) is needed. In addition to the official requiremnets you need the Whole CWR2 core MOD with all expansion which are quite a lot. The CWR2 Mod has brought all the content of the first OFP games to ArmA 2 and in addition they made a lof of different factions. I'm more than 2 years busy with that MOD and I still haven't checked out everything they released with it.Unfortunately there is no CWR MOD for ArmA 3 otherwise we would have used ArmA 3 for that mission pack. Still trying to get my act together though, some of the mods I install tend to mess with the core game files.
I have tried putting the mods in a different folder but that doesn't seem to make much difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Important is to know how to install a MOD for the Arma games. I barely using the Steam workshop. If I find the files of the MOD somehow seperated from Steamworkshop I install them manually.Never put any MOD files in your official addon folder. You gonna get kicked off server in MP if you do that. So it is important to know how to install a MOD correctly.
There might be addons which can conflict therefore it is important to choose them wisely.I can't say anything about American ArmY I have never tried it for being honest. Isn't AA only MP? I haven't thought about games which are only multiplayer.cheers. The mission pack is for Arma 2 Combined Operations ( Arma2 + Operation Arrowhead ) + official Expansion (BAF +PMC) is needed. About Americas Army I don't know too much about it but I thought it had options for single player. Just been hearing about it thought it might be good.
Gardening/landscaping is my current hobbie-out of necessity believe it or not.I will be selling a home I inherited shortly. The lawn was un-kept, to say the least. Over grown bushes and shrubbery. Over-grown weeds, cats using the front of the property as their litter box-had to spread Cayenne powder, Peperochinni flakes (red pepper flakes used for pizza) set nails upside down in spots so cats wouldn't dig-up new plants. I also had to resort to rose branches with lots of thorns, spread them out in areas-I poke myself with them sometimes if I forget their placements, or move to quickly through the work space. I've also cut down a 15 ft tree, pulled-out a butt-ugly crooked supposed Desert Willow, a lemon tree that I just gave up on after trying to nurse it back to health for 5mos.I've pulled up most of the cheap boarders dividing the lawn from the plants.
I've turn some areas into a cactus oasis using play sand, and in other sections used some of the loose gravel from an old dog pen hidden on the side of the house.I enjoy the work and every day I think-up other designs I will incorperated once the lawn looks pristine. It's kind of a shame though; I'm putting all this work into a home that'll be somebody else. Although, I hope the improvements will add that much more value when it does sell. When the sun goes down, I'm usually reading on line or reading from my hardcover book collection. I enjoy looking at maps-any kind of maps.Other than reading, I draw and hope to start watercoloring once again-just can seem to get into the mood.Sometimes I like creating a Sims city/town.I try making the town function oddly; use just subways/lightrail between diferent zones, i.e.: industrial zone with roads within, then residential zones with perhaps a couple of shops, but no roads leading to work.
Just odd-ball disruption in the poors Sims life is funny to watch, because they will start complaining to the mayor (me). They are like little cry babies.
They bitch about not enough entertainment, the roads are too crowded, funds for schools are too low, etc. Sometimes I'll just go ahead and re-zone the complainers neighborhoods, and put up a 'dirty Industry' which the Sims hate. I like to make believe I'm doing it to: Willow Glen, a San Jose neighborhood our court jester of a mayor lives, Sam Retardo.I'm new to this site, so I'm maneuvering around here-and-there, trying to feel-out the site. I am wholly into SP.
The MP experience would be nice but there are too many hindrances to that at the moment. What about you? I would guess the later.Hello AD I did a year of intense MP but I had to stop due to real life issues and being part of a dedicated group was in contrast with what I had to do. Well I had to make a choice and I stopped MP.
I've always been more intop SP games.I assume you kinow how to install the MOD's otherwise I'll try to expalin how I'm doing it manually. Once you know it's a piece of cake. All the best it's good to have another Arma player here on the forum. Once you know it's a piece of cake. All the best it's good to have another Arma player here on the forum. It's a pleasure having someone i can discuss ArmA with that is also mgtow.two similar interests, now that's a win. Sooner or later I am definitely going to give the MP option a go. Its like the cake I have been hankering for. From your experience would you say the SP or the MP is better in terms of enjoyment? It tires me when the AI take impossible shots through grass, when even I cant see them.
A human player would face the same visual constraints as myself so it would be possible to really test my tactical thinking. Right now I am unable to really test that except to use brute force to carry out missions. Is there any mod you know that can remedy this situation for me?I usually install the mods by extracting to a folder specially labelled for mods then I activate it at the expansions option ingame.is there something I am doing wrong? Or are the mods just overwriting the core game files. As sometimes when I install some mod it might tell me curator file missing or something like that. Any insight would be appreciated. Well MP it depends if you play Coop (against bots with other human players) or if you play PvP player versus player.
Download deliric silemt strike album ziippy share youtube. PVP is the most challenging of them all because you are up against human players. But back to AI seeing through grass and bushes. During ArmA 2 the community did a lot of experimenting on this specific 'problem' there are even videos proving it that the AI can't see through bushes.
In case you face a whole squad of enemies and your position has been spotted the enemy AI will reveal your position to rest of the enemy squad members. The whole squad will know your last position.I need to look up how to modify precision setting skills in game in general.
Arma 3 Mcc Download
I know which trigger command to use in order to design a mission where the skill settings are actually set in favor of prolonged firefights without being headshoted from 500 m by an AK47. In know there is another way just need to find the right document and which line to edit in your profile document. I gonna revert on that one. I own all Arma games starting from the OFP franchise. The only thing I'm missing is the last ArmA 3 DLC.
Once you buy the core game the community provides the rest. ArmA never gets old because there's tons of high quality stuff released by them. Just watch the terrain makers.
Just mind blowing at times. In case you can get a deal on Steam Buy ArmA2 and its expansions and DLC which is worth it in my opinion.
Tons of MODS. In my opinion it's worth it.
Just wait for a sale.Cheers. Lets say Sp and MP are different sides of the same coin. No I don't think you did something wrong with your MOD folders otherwise the game would CTD or give you some kind of error messages. It was back in OFP times where people put 3rd party custom made addons in the core games addon folder which led to troubles since then MOD folders have been adopted in order to sepparate community made p3d models from the core game models and works great.Yes that is true a human player has to fight game limitations differently. Maybe I should improve on my evasive maneuver's or maybe like you said the best otion is to lower the skill settings.Yeah there really is quite a lot of content to get online. I got this dynamic campaign generator and I have been enjoying it tremendously. There is a mod that I had that helps to alter precision skills maybe if you tinker with it you could find out how to alter it. I think its called MCC if am not mistaken.
I will look out for ArmA 2 then seems you have such glowing remarks about it.The MP experience I am seeking is definitely the pvp one. It should be fun except more challenging.

LOTS of amazing scripts and features here for our Mission makers.BTW - i reached out to the author of Dynamic Zombie Sandbox for a way to use his zombie system as a standalone addition to other missions in Arma 3. He replied that it's quite difficult to take the zombies out of DZS and apply them separately to another mission. But he also offered to give me a standalone zombie script with some instructions to get it working inside any separate mission.
This should come in for us NEXT WEEK.If anybody sees this and has any ideas for a mission that includes zombies, please post below!
